When I called Qwest to report the problem they couldn't find our number and told me we didn't exist. I realize that I live in the middle of no where, but I was calling them from the phone I was having problems. (The Verizon tower has been out this past week as well so our cell phones haven't been working, that's a story for another day.) The nice lady from Qwest told me she was going to research the problem and get back to me. When she called back she asked if I was in Arizona or Utah I explained that we are in Utah but have an Arizona number that they override with a Utah area code, (which by the way is really silly but because we live closer to Arizona we're in their service area so that's the way the phone company handles it.) She also told me that the address I had given her was not the correct address and that the address on file was for a location in town. I explained that Qwest wouldn't run a phone line out to our house and we have it beamed from a satellite in town that hits a satellite at the school which then hits our water tank and then the hatchery building. From the hatchery building to our house there is a buried phone line just like any neighborhood would have, it's just getting to the hatchery building that's the problem.
They did end up trouble shooting the problem and so far I've received one phone call today (thanks for giving it another shot Derek.) and no emails to say that you can't get through. If you do get the message, keep on trying, you'll get through eventually, or send us an email we're bound to get that.
