Keeping Busy

It seems as if it's been 100 years since I've updated the blog and it's only been about a month. Quent and I have been busy and have actually spent the better part of the month in Big Water getting everything in order for the move and to finish up a couple of projects that Quent needed to get done before we head north for good.

Quent's aunt Von and three of her friends visited us last weekend, it was fun to meet Quent's aunt and her three friends were a lot of fun. The four women planed to visit the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce Canyon and Zion's National Park in a week. Quent played tour guide on Sunday and Monday and kept them busy all day and all night.

We've picked up the pace with packing and will hopefully have 90% of the house packed up before we head north on Thursday for what will be our final 10 days of repair at the Mantua house before moving for good. We hope to get the two bathrooms finished and get the kitchen in working order so we can move in around the 15th of November.

We will be spending November 3-8 in Peoria, Illinois with Nancy and her family and we had hoped to be moved to Mantua before the trip but it's been slow going and we hope to be moved just after we return.
